Welcome to SwiftSoil. By accessing our website at swiftsoil.site or using our gardening services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue use of our website and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Services Description

SwiftSoil provides residential and commercial gardening services in the Pasadena, Maryland area including but not limited to: lawn care and mowing, landscaping design and installation, soil testing and treatment, plant maintenance, seasonal clean-up services, and related horticultural services. All services are subject to a separate written service agreement or estimate executed before work commences.

3. Service Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided by SwiftSoil are based on information available at time of assessment. Pricing plans displayed on our website represent starting rates only. Final pricing may differ if:

• The property's actual condition differs materially from the initial assessment
• Hidden issues are discovered once work begins (such as severe soil compaction, root invasion, or underground obstacles)
• The scope of work is changed at the client's request
• Significant material cost changes occur between estimate and service date
• Local regulations require additional work not originally anticipated

Any scope changes will be communicated in writing and require client approval before additional work proceeds.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in each service agreement. Generally, a deposit may be required to confirm scheduling, and final payment is due upon service completion. Late payments may incur interest charges as specified in the service agreement. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

5. Service Warranties

SwiftSoil provides the following workmanship warranties, as specified in individual service agreements:

• Basic lawn visits: 7-day satisfaction guarantee on workmanship
• Landscaping installations: 30-day plant establishment guarantee (subject to proper watering by client)
• Soil treatments: Results assessed at 60 days post-treatment
• Annual maintenance plans: Full season satisfaction guarantee

Plant warranties are void if the client does not follow watering and care instructions provided by our team. Manufacturer warranties on materials are separate from our workmanship guarantees.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for: ensuring pets and children are kept clear of work areas during service; providing reasonable access to the property; notifying SwiftSoil of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or hazards; following post-service care instructions (especially watering guidance after planting); and providing accurate property information during the assessment process.

7. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel or reschedule services with at least 48 hours notice without penalty. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the scheduled service value, as specified in the service agreement. Deposits for materials already ordered may be non-refundable.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftSoil's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. SwiftSoil shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Insurance and Licensing

SwiftSoil maintains all required Maryland business licenses, pesticide applicator licenses, and comprehensive general liability insurance. Documentation is available to clients upon request.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on swiftsoil.site—including text, images, logos, and designs—is owned by SwiftSoil or its licensors and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to mediation in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
